Lantana Lodge is a Jewel in the Desert rich in history. Located in the historic movie colony of Palm Springs, California, it was built and opened in 1947. For several years Lantana Lodge served as a P.S. "hideaway" for those looking for a sun-filled easy vacation getaway.

Located close to town and within walking distance of larger homes of several famous movie stars, Lantana Lodge is thought to have been used as a sort of overflow station for friends and relatives of those stars and famous characters of the late 40s and early 50s.
